@4BitCom -- Communications System@1
@3COMMUNICATIONS HELP@1
@5FUNCTION KEYS:@1
@I Show this help page.
@E If connected, escape to Option Menu. If doing file send or receive,
cancels it. Otherwise, return to Communications Parameters menu.
@B Send break signal, or cancel a running SCRIPT/ACTION file.
@U Display current user defined function key definitions.
@P Begin or end printing of screen output.
@A Write screen to a file.
This is the Communications Screen. While in this screen, every character
you type will be sent over the communications port. If you have established
connection, the lower right corner of the screen will show how long you
have been connected. If you are not connected, it will merely say 00:00:00.
Also, the @E key behaves differently when you are connected than when you
are not. If you are connected, you will be presented with an option menu
whereby you may initiate file transfers, issue DOS commands, change the
communications parameters, or hang up. If you are not connected, pressing
@E merely returns you to the menu you were in before you began attempting
communication.@

@3File Transfers@1
Once you are connected, you may initiate a file transfer by pressing @E,
selecting the 'Send File' or 'Receive File' option, and specifying the file
name and method of transfer (Ascii or Xmodem).
@3Display Function Key Definitions@1
The @U key displays the definitions of any user defined function keys
(which would have been defined in an ACTION file).
@3Printing Screen Output@1
You may begin printing a copy of all output to the screen by pressing the
@P key. You may quit printing by again pressing the @P key.
@3Saving Screen Image@1
You may make a copy of the current screen image by pressing the @A key.
You will then be prompted for the name of a file to write to. On most
systems you may specify the printer by giving the name 'LPT1'. This
is the default. If you specify a filename, the screen image will be
appended to the file if it exists.
